thanks for bringing this to our attention. We could identify and fix the 
problem, we'll soon provide a minor bugfix release (will be announced here).

Quick explanation to work around the frustration: The problem is that mouse 
pointer coordinates on wheel events are reported wrong (by GLUT on Windows). 
Everything seems fine while the window is maximised or placed in the upper left 
corder of the screen. But if the window is moved right or down, slab adjustment 
and other scroll wheel bound events get screwed up.
