Hello Haruki, My name is Thomas Stewart and I'm one of the PyMOL developers at Schrodinger. You can use an educational license to fulfill course or program requirements such as a Master's thesis or dissertation. We hope to reword the website in the near future to make it more clear when educational and academic licenses should each be used.
