I am pulling statements out of my hat because the project isn't really handing the out, is it? The CPython extension mechanism was discussed in june. I asked some questions. I never got an answer, except my strong impression that people wanted to focus on the interpreter itself at EuroPython. I now, half a year later, hear that the mechanism is taken about and if people want to bring it back the new way, they can. All this together gives me the strong impression the project doesn't care much about this feature at the present and is not going to do much about this, as a project. Volunteers are welcome to try to add it back at some point Regards, Martijn _______________________________________________ [email protected] http://codespeak.net/mailman/listinfo/pypy-dev
