Yes. My problem isn't related to those issues. I fixed it by installing the MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package, from <http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en>. Did the compiler change between the binary for 4.4.3 and the snapshot? Apparently, my system (XP SP2) had a missing or outdated compiler DLL. You may need to either distribute another DLL with the binary or make this fix a FAQ.
