As long as we only touch the names and not the semantics, I'd actually
prefer having the original pyqt*() names around and just spit a warning
if they're used instead of the more generic ones.
But as said, I'll read your proposal more thoroughly on Monday (at
latest). Having had just a quick peek, it looked really sensible to me.
