Hi List, I'm very excited to tell you that I've finished the integration of the shiny new Blosc compressor (blosc.pytables.org) has been completely integrated in trunk, and hence, 2.2b3 is almost ready to ship. For the moment, the compressor is marked as experimental, but I expect to release it marked as ``stable for production`` for 2.2 final.
Right now, I was conducting very extensive checking of the new code, and so far everything seems to go well on Linux and Windows machines. I'd be very grateful if anybody having a Mac can compile the trunk from SVN and tell me if the tests passes. Please, when reporting back, also specify your Mac OSX version and whether you are compiling in 32-bit or 64-bit mode.
