Cyd Haselton added the comment: I've run into an error when building python in preparation for running tests (i. e. with --with-pydebug in the ./configure params).
./libpython3.4dm.so: undefined reference to `_PyUnicode_CheckConsistency' It doesn't seem to be defined anywhere in source that I can see and i'm not sure why.
