Makes sense. Python 3.7 will get security fix until 2023-06. https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0537/#and-beyond-schedule Python 3.12 will be released at 2023-10. So we can change PY_SSIZE_T_CLEAN by default from 3.12.
