However, if there's enough in an idea that it's worth pushing forward, and too much for it to just go straight to the issue tracker or a GitHub PR, someone will usually recommend it at some point. In borderline cases, the decision of whether it's PEP-worthy or not generally comes down to "is someone willing to write and shepherd the PEP" - it's a fair bit of work, and a lot of incoming emails to deal with.
