* I don't know much about google groups, but if I remember correctly, it had usenet support. * python-il had a gmane mirror, which we wish to restore anyway (for some reason it stopped working when we changed the domain). So to me it sounds like if we restore the nntp mirror, then everyone would be able to go on using their favorite interface, with no double messages and no cluttering of mailboxes. Of course, you'll have to wait at least a week until I come back home and try to figure out what needs to be done. However, the transport in both lists is low enough. So if you wish to play around with mail-chains - just go ahead (carefully...). I'll help if/when I can, and let you know if moderation-probs pop up...
