Here's something we can all agree on. If Google becomes a devil, the
only way the community can survive is if we have
http://www.django.org.il/ up and running, using only open software and
friendly hosting. To be truly independent we must have it up and
running.

I want to try and use django-website for this - breaking Django
community to a set of local communities. Here are the parts I want to
use:

- Aggregator: an app that polls Feeds and displays their items
- Mingus: blogging project: latest Django blog (0.1) made only from
pluggable apps. YOu can check a sample: http://libby.tuzig.com
- Whoosh: A python full-text search
- Disqus: Django based commenting service
- BitBucket: source control and a project management hosted service
- CouchDB - for replication and offline access

It's clear our top priority is to add an event calendar - just so so
we can have a main link to use everywhere and be all happy.
