Hello, It is true that there is no activity on python-meep (at least since years on my side). It was a project which originated from my fellowship at MSU and since then my interests lie in different area. Regarding the IPKSS - I do not know whether it has a python-meep as a dependency or has directly embedded it. IPKISS is much more than the wrapper around meep and is actively developed. That's why I would suggest you to go IPKISS way and use python-meep only if you want to continue its development.
