As already mentioned in the ITP message[1], Python PAM (the one in python-pampy) simply contains one single file: pam.py. That's where I got the idea from for renaming the package to avoid a duplicate package name in the Debian archive. (Actually this got a little inspired by python-web, that has a home page under webpy.org).

As there was no feedback from anyone (AFAICT) I interpreted this as silent agreement.

Any recommendation / superseding naming preference is welcome and, if so, a package under a new name will be prepared.
