Disclaimer: I don't know a lot of Rubyists/Pythonistas I think it depends on the area.
Ruby is very popular because of Rails, there's no default/famous framework for Python and I think that is one of the reasons Ruby is more popular than Python on the web. For "sciencey" stuff (mathematics, modeling, genetics-stuff) I think Python is more popular. If anyone else has an opinion, I'd like to hear it :) On Thu, Sep 2, 2010 at 15:13, Rafael Carneiro <rafaelcarnei...@gmail.com>wrote: > Hi everybody, > > What is more popular (jobs, groups, events, etc) in Netherlands, Python or > Ruby? > > > cheers, > -- > Rafael Carneiro > > > > _______________________________________________ > Python-nl mailing list > Python-nl@python.org > http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-nl > >
