I like when people talk about tools that are a bit out of the mainstream. I use jEdit, I find it more flexible than most editors (despite not being very python-friendly at all), and rock solid. At the other end of my personal scale you'll find Eric: very python/pyqt-friendly, but way too crashy in the last few years. I've been repeatedly tempted to fork out cash for certain commercial IDEs, but the cost/benefit ratio is still a bit too high for me. If I had more time I'd probably give emacs another chance, but I honestly struggle to remember all those key combos. -- Giacomo Lacava -- To post: [email protected] To unsubscribe: [email protected] Feeds: http://groups.google.com/group/python-north-west/feeds More options: http://groups.google.com/group/python-north-west
