If you plan to work on hgview, I think it could be great to give you commit right on the repo and access to pypi. Bitbucket will remove mercurial support in 2020, maybe we could give a try to https://hg.sr.ht/ , I never used it but IIUC I would allow to handle a list of users who can push to the repo, have a ticket tracker and the CI could run pypi upload using new pypi API tokens. What do you and others think ? In the meantime, feel free to open PR on bitbucket or send patches with "hg email" to this list.
