The bug reports often contain sensitive customer information. Also, the developers use the bug reports to discuss work on the bug so it can contain confidential Autodesk information as well. In my experience, having a public bug list does little to reduce the incidence of duplicate reports since few users bother to check the list before making a report. The value that I get from a public bug list lies primarily in determining if a fix is imminent or if someone else has found a workaround. -- -deane --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Yours, Maya-Python Club Team. -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
