Can anyone think of a way to figure out if a mesh is a "solid" (sphere) vs a 
shell (plane). 

I wish I could rely on weather the mesh was closed or not, but I can't, because 
you can close a plane (fill hole).

nParticle fill does not seem to fill anything but "solid" objects so I will see 
if I can use that.
