What I posted wasn't going to necessarily help you directly, it was more
a debugging step to work out what's wrong and/or nail down a bit further
any issues. If you can't import a python pack you've created yourself,
then there is indeed a bigger issue with your setup than NSUV.

At this stage it's about stripping things back to the bare metal to work
out what's gone wrong, and my gut feel is that there's something squiffy
about your maya pathing, so that's sort of why I wanted to see if you
can get a generic package of your own creation working.
