In C++/Qt I exclusively use QtCreator, which I find to be an excellent IDE
for Qt development. It obviously has a lot more specific support for Qt
projects. Still, even with QtCreator, I don't use UI files at all. I
continue to hand code all UI functionality. For me it is just a preference.
But if you are doing your project in QtCreator, most of the UI/resource
conversion stuff is handled for you automatically.
