What do you think about videotaping talks? I happen to have a video camera. I have no stand for it yet, but I can buy one for the August talk. I also managed to grasp the whole process of video grabbing, editing with Cinelerra and encoding. Lately I even managed to burn a DVD (yay!). There's a thing I don't know how to do: how to easily embed slides with the video. But I guess having a video without slides is good enough for starters.
I can bring my gear to the August talk. Objections? Ideas? Flames?
