What type of audio-in jack is it? 3.5mm? If it is, would a standard pc mic work with it? I have one of them, whether it's of use is another Q.I don't have a good idea for the external microphone. My camera does have an audio-in, it's doable.
I was thinking about putting the camera relatively close to the speaker and use the built in microphone. I know that the sound would be better when recorded from an external microphone, but I don't have a good idea how to do that. We need to get an external mic. Just needs an ok from the talker, that is all. :) On Sat, Jul 12, 2008 at 2:18 PM, Maciej Bliziński <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:What do you think about videotaping talks? I happen to have a video camera. I have no stand for it yet, but I can buy one for the August talk. I also managed to grasp the whole process of video grabbing, editing with Cinelerra and encoding. Lately I even managed to burn a DVD (yay!). There's a thing I don't know how to do: how to easily embed slides with the video. But I guess having a video without slides is good enough for starters. I can bring my gear to the August talk. Objections? Ideas? Flames?
