I'll back Rory on that one: I've been using MacVim (mvim from the command line) for about a year now, and the integration with MacOS X is great - being able to use Apple command key combinations to copy/paste, open a new file, save, quit, etc.
Work on it seems quite active, with regular updates. Johan.
