Barry, I know there are Cork events, but not as frequent as Dublin ones. If you are interested in organising one if nothing is happening, I'll gladly help you shout out on the python site, facebook, etc. See http://www.python.ie/events/ for past Cork events and the contact details. Harry, Again, same thing as above, if you are interested in organising one, let me know. I'm sure someone in UL net soc are more than happy to help, given they invited PyPy folks over before, and they helped PR'ing PyCon Ireland for me in July. Oh, and Limerick Hackerspace as well (MiLK), I'm sure they are happy to help you out. Anyway, we got 2 people from 2 different colleges responding, so that's a good start.
