See the Apple doc I referenced earlier. I'm going to set this flag (LSUIElement) in the system Python of every Mac at PARC I can get my hands on, so we'll get some idea of the effects. I encourage others on this list to also set it, and see what kind of effects you notice. So far, my experience is positive.
