Hi people from Python OCC

Let me introduce myself to this project. I am Jochem Berends, A Ph.D.
candidate from the Delft University of Technology and Founder of
KE-works knowledge engineering. My 'scientific' background is the
field of Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) and an important aspect of
it is an object oriented approach towards modelling engineering
systems (or products for that matter). For this I am interested to
combing the pythonic way of object manipulation combined with a strong
geometric kernel link by (in this case) using the OCC kernel.

I am very excited that you are aiming at providing this interface from
OCC to Python and I follow this project for a while now in a passive
and sidelining mode (via Marco Nawijn), letting the project fiddle
with the compiler and SWIG details (not my strongest field). I feel
this project comes in a state where some of the ideas that I have can
be prototyped with the current codebase and therefore I will
contribute to discussions and proto some code/applications where
neccessary. I have already seen some important discussions (in the
thread of Bryan Bishop on wx and the toolbar -
https://mail.gna.org/public/pythonocc-users/2009-03/msg00090.html and
further) and seen the GSoC proposal (YEAH!)

As said, I am very excited for this project and I am eager to help out
where neccessary!

Regards,

Jochem Berends
