Thank you very much, Thomas. With this binary it is much easier to install, as it is not necessary to compile PyQt on my own and have it linked against the fink-python But now there is an other Problem for me., When trying to import the python interpreter claims: >>> from PyQt4 import QtCore RuntimeError: the sip module implements API v8.0 to v8.1 but the PyQt4.QtCore module requires API v7.0 I did not find anything about the API Version of sip in its documentation. So, where can I get the right sip-version for the precompiled PyQt4 ? Or any other idea how to avoid this? Thank you again for your time and your help is really appreciated. With best regards, Helmut
