'compat' is deprecated, and you are using core ;-) https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Pywikibot/Installation#Configuring_Pywikibot says Windows: Start 'Command Prompt' (typically under 'Accessories ยป System Tools' or 'System'), and run: > cd "c:\users\username\pywikibot" > pwb.py login Does that not work? My guess is that you do not have Python in your %PATH% .. ?
