Is problem 2 related to `autocreate=True` parameter of pywikibot.site.login <https://doc.wikimedia.org/pywikibot/stable/api_ref/pywikibot.site.html#pywikibot.site._apisite.APISite.login>? I think it's reasonable to expect users would pass it (at least I did pass it and still got errors on Wikidata).
