Question: Do you want coloured hatches? AFAIR there are different
hatch types, some of them might contain colours (I just don't remember
-- I would need to have a look into the specs). AFAIR we support only
a very single hatch type, maybe colour changes are not allowed there.
Probably.

Beside that Michael is right, that we support hatching for filling
only. I think in PostScript you can use a hatch style for stroking as
well, but this is not available in PDF. I'm not totally sure here
eigher, but there is some issue like that.
