That's right, although I wonder why this should decrease the usefulness
of PyX. Anyway, there is still some development going on and there is
also enough material in SVN for a new release.

We are well aware that there is a new standard library module for IPC,
but traditionally we have been very conservative in what Python version
we require. The subprocess module, for instance, has been added to
Python 2.4 "only" and to me it is not obvious whether it is worth to
break compatibility with Python 2.3, which is still in quite some use.
