We've made great progress in the past month. On January 10th we had
3011 unconfirmed defects. As of today we have 2702. So we've reduced
the backlog by 309. Because new reports are coming in every day that
means we've actually processed more than 309 reports. We had to keep
pace with the new incoming defects as well as reduce the backlog by
309. If you remember those math problems with a bucket that is being
filled while leaking at the same time -- it is like that.

Good job and thanks to all who helped!

This is a good time to go back and look at reports that you added the
"needmoreinfo" keywords to. If you were not able to confirm without
more information, say a document or additional information, and more
than two weeks have passed without the user sending more information,
then you can mark the issue as RESOLVED/IRREPRODUCIBLE. If more
information is provided in the future we can always reopen it. But we
don't want to keep them in the queue forever.

Finally, I think I have responded to all outstanding requests for
defect report assignments, adding volunteers to the "qa-team" group in
Bugzilla, etc. But if I missed your request, or you have a new
request, please let me know.

Thanks!
