I have downloaded open office apache about a year ago. Use it almost everyday.
 Thank you.

What I need to know is: is there an instruction book for Apache Open Office
that I can buy, and what is the cost?
The OpenOffice project maintains a list of OpenOffice books at
<http://www.openoffice.org/support/books.html>. Most of these books date
from 2012 (OpenOffice 3.4), i.e. before the introduction of the sidebar.
I must confess I haven't read any of them, since I've been using
OpenOffice for almost ten years now.

(There are also some other electronic resources, like these for students
at <http://openoffice-uni.org/>.)

I hate looking at the on screen instructions. They are confusing to me. I'm
used to looking at a book.
You are probably not the only person who finds the online documentation
confusing, but most people probably don't tell us about this. If you
could say a few things about what makes the documentation confusing and
how we might improve it, that could be very helpful.

Best regards,

Christophe

Thank you for your time
