Paul,

the "Error" is only an indication that the selected MediaBackend could
not render the image from your video stream

Check under [ Tools -> Setup ... -> MediaBackend ] which backend you
selected. I would recommend QMPlayerWidge, or KXineWidget. Try which
ones work best for you.

THe progress bar at the bottom indicates the remaining space on your DVD.
