The missing file could be caused by a number of reasons. Most of the
time it is a missing tool or wrong audio format etc.

If you send me the file generated throgh [ Tools -> Feedback ... ] I can
take a look at it.

Hi,

thanks for your kind replies.
I don't think it's a matter of permissions, as I am using a tmp folder
within my own home, on which I have full rights.
In the meantime I have been playing around with some options and managed to
get a bit farer. I mean in the sense that when I click on 'create dvd' it
performs some operations before popping up the message above. In particular
I found out that by left clicking on the added video name -> properties ->
transcoding, I could change 'keep pal' into 'PAL', 'keep mpeg 2' into 'mpeg
2' -> accept -> create DVD and the process would at leat begin with no
sudden warnings. The file I was playing with was an avi, but got similar
results with a mpeg file too (converted with kino from dv to mpeg).
I believe it is a problem of transcoding properly?
I find this whole transcoding thing very confusing - so greatfull to anyone
who will shine some light on it.
Please find attached the feedback file from one of my many failed attempts.

thanks
