I'm running v2.0100 (build: mar 23 2010) from the debian-multimedia
repository.

I'm getting an error when creating some DVDs with movie buttons.
Sometimes I've been getting an error message claiming that there are
fewer chapters than the movie actually contains (see below, which is
from a project with seven chapters).

It's only when I looked at the output.txt file in the project's folder
in the /tmp directory that it started to make sense. The project is
creating vts_01_1.VOB which actually has four scenes starting in it.
However, it seems to be two minutes shorter than the original video at
the point that it ends. That is, if I match the ending frame in the .VOB
file with the corresponding frame in the original video, the .VOB shows
a time that is two minutes less than the original video.

Therefore dvdauthor can't find the scene when it's calculating chapters.

I understand from previous encounters with MPEG/DVD video that there are
several ways that can be used to calculate the total playing time of a
clip. Apparently the method used to calculate which chapters should be
included in the .VOB file doesn't match the way dvdauthor is using to
set the menu jumps.

The chapter jumps themselves (in DVDs I've previously created) seem to
go to the right spot, but I've noticed that the chapter previews don't
always seem to be where I've set them. I'm not sure if that is related
or not. However, I suspect that the way qdvdauthor is calculating
locations in the movie is off, which is causing both problems.
