Hi,
excuse me for "intruding" your developers list . Since last week I am watching the news from Japan and also found forwarded message from japan qgis translator. I came to this idea. I know that the last version was named after the mine in Chile, where the accident happened. What do you think about naming the following QGIS version after some Japanese town – maybe Minamisanriku (the most damaged town with tsunami – almost wiped out) – just
as a gesture of solidarity? Just an idea ...

very good idea

regards

Jan

I don't want to sound cold-hearted but wroclaw has the advantage of being related to a qgis' event, we didn't change the name for 1.4 after Haiti.
