Hi Martin,
Thank you very much for this fix. So the problem was actually
copy/pasting the rules, and not the legend tree itself. After a new
copy/paste of my rules the problem is indeed gone.
I would assume that this a common workflow. I am most likely not the
only who copies existing rules and paste them for some changes -
especially since the context menu offers this option. I am glad this is
fixed now.
Many thanks,
Andreas

Hi Andreas
This should be fixed in 8db77f. Let me note that the problem may
happen only with rule-based renderer where some rules have been copied
(to create new rules) while using qgis master. It should not be
linux/kde specific.
Projects where this problem appears need to be fixed by the user - the
easiest way is to select all rules, copy&paste them and remove the
previous rules. This will rewrite their non-unique identifiers to
unique.
Cheers
Martin

Hi,
Is there someone who tests QGIS master on Linux/KDE?
I have issues with the new legend tree and the "pseudo-layers" (category
checkboxes). Normally a checkbox needs a mouse-click in order to toggle. In
the legend-tree on Linux/KDE it seems like if I check one checkbox with the
click and then mouse-over other checkboxes, the checkbox-statechange already
happens on mouseover. This is very suboptimal.
Apparently only the checkbox state is toggled, but not the action associated
with the checkbox - thus the legend-tree gets out of sync ...
I wonder if others have the same issue? Testing on Kubuntu 14.04 / KDE
desktop.
