Hi Tim, Victor[1], John [2], Nathan [3] and Gary [4]

Good initiative which I also would keep in a sandbox so long.
I'd like to check my plugins against (and probably contribute to) this
common set of functions for QGIS Python plugins.

[1] seems to be the unifid place and this has been changed since 21 days.
Is this the common set for now?
