Andreas, Given a recent development version of PROJ you should be able to use the projection in QGIS. Just add a custom CRS with the setup string “+proj=eqearth”.
For those who don’t want to build PROJ themselves will only have to wait a few weeks until PROJ 5.2.0 is released and picked up by the packagers :-) /Kristian > On 28 Aug 2018, at 16:25, Andreas Neumann <[email protected]> wrote: > > If i had the latest proj4 compiled on my machine - would I have this new > "EqualEarth" projection automatically available in QGIS, or is there > something that needs to be added in QGIS as well? > > Andreas > > > Am 28.08.2018 um 16:18 schrieb Andreas Neumann: >> Hi, >> >> Twitter is full of mentions of the "EqualEarth" projection.
