Hi Juergen I guess I've been misadvising people, then. My understanding was that 3.4 did not become LTR until 3.6 was released. I based this on explanations from others, and also on my interpretation of https://www.qgis.org/en/site/getinvolved/development/roadmap.html#release-schedule.
Anyway, as I say, I think it's just an occasion where choice of language is important. I think that describing 2.18 as "unsupported" before 3.4 becomes LTR (or the only LTR, according to your description), has the potential needlessly to ring alarms. Anyway, as always, thanks for the amazing work. It will be a relief to put 2.18 to bed.
