Perfect use case for our feed! For my part I would like to release 3.4.14 with the same binary footprint as 3.4.12 had, but bump the version number in the app so it appears as 3.4.14. Then stop any more releases for 3.4. If Jürgen is willing and QGIS.org <http://qgis.org/> can fund this I think it would be a very good way forward.
