Marco, I get many crashes of QGIS 1.0 preview with WINXP SP2, most of them a bit erratic. One that always happens is when I use the Scale Bar plugin. I seldom use Windows now and virtually never for QGIS, so I do not know if this is also the case for previous versions.
It's strange, since no one encountered such problems untill now (me first). Do you have a previously installed version of Python or QT?
I there any way I can get output to a console under Win so that I can provide some useful information to fix problems? or any other way of providing info about the crashes?
