Your suggestion of a "default_project.qgs" should fill the bill. And it
opens the way for adding other global project definitions it the future.
Yes, I've implemented it at mine by launching the project file at startup and
it's really comfortable. However it's only a workaround... I still wonder if
Global Default Projection shouldn't be used also for project projection.
In my opinion, yes...
