Hi all,
I am having difficulty saving point data as a shapefile .... QGIS
automatically shuts down. The steps I have taken are given below. Any
advice is greatly appreciated, thanks
I am working with QGIS version 1.4.0 Enceladus on a Mac OS X version
10.5.8
1) I created a .csv file from the .xls file, then loaded the .csv
file into QGIS with the "Add delimited text layer" plugin
2) save the result as a shapefile by clicking on "layers" option and
choosing "save as shape file" and i click on the Irish Grid reference
"ESPG ID 29902".
Then QGIS automatically shuts down.
