Thanks both. I was looking in the install directory for a plugins
directory.

I've managed to install it and activate it, but it's not working - the
slider bars are always greyed out; any thoughts as to why. I'm trying to
use it on an ECW and a JP2.

Beyond this, is there an actual swipe-ing plugin or functionality for
QGIS?
Regards,

Jonathan

In Windows XP, it is:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\.qgis\python\plugins
