Hi, Angelos is right. Building QGIS for Application:Geo is based on packages from the default repositories (python, ...) and from Application:Geo (geos, gdal, ...). If you use other repositories for kde, qt, python etc. qgis will likely fail.
I hope this explains your problems. Tumbleweed in my opinion should only be used, if you are an experienced opensuse user.
