Using QGIS Lisboa RC1 under Ubuntu 11.10 amd64. I have continuing problems with the Python scripts gdal_merge.py, gdal_polygonize.py and gdal_sieve.py. Trying to run these either via the Raster menu or in a terminal produces a segfault. The gdal executables are fine and these are in the same directory as the scripts (/usr/bin).
Reinstalling QGIS does not solve the problem and I am now at a total loss to know what to do, especially as it appears that this behavior is not reproducible elsewhere. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
