Opening an app more than once is not normal, and not the correct way to open 
multiple windows/projects for an app on OS X.  The app must be designed to open 
multiple projects if that behavior is desired.

Different application document model on OS X.  I'd rather not promote hacks 
like this, it might confuse OS X users (ie. you get an icon in the Dock for 
each app instance, not normal).
