When I do a join in 1.9.0-Master 80c9199 the columns from an external joined file will get names like Filename_Attributename where Attributename is the name from the file Filename.
This is quite fine but when I choose to save my join as a new shapefile (where only 10 characters are allowed for attribute names) I end up with very hard to understand attribute names like this: <http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/file/n5077022/Attribute_table.png> Is there any way to avoid this? ----- Regards Morten Qgis 1.8.0 Stand alone installer and/or Qgis 1.9.0 Weekly in Win7 64 bit -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Naming-of-attribute-columns-in-joined-files-tp5077022.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
